Softball Recap: Savannah Christian Comes Up Short

Savannah Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vidalia Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Savannah Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Vidalia, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Savannah Christian will square off against Bulloch Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vidalia, they will challenge Emanuel County Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
