Soccer Recap: Tustin Comes Up Short

Tustin was the 6-2 winner over Santiago when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tillers fell 3-1 to the Cavaliers on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Tustin's goal came courtesy of Eva Zavala, who's now up to two this season.

Tustin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tustin will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Segerstrom at 5:15 p.m. on December 2. As for Santiago, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Samueli Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
