Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Purdue Polytechnic Techies
Heritage Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Purdue Polytechnic on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 66-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Purdue Polytechnic Techies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-40 back in November of 2024.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. The game was Briscoe's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Nyiah Rogers, who earned 14 points along with six assists and four steals.
Heritage Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Purdue Polytechnic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
