If Trinity was riding high fresh off their 51-22 takedown of Etna last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trinity Wolves took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Modoc Braves on Saturday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elsie Storckman, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 19 points and five boards. Braelynn Nugent was another key player, putting up four points and four steals.
Even though they lost, Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

As for Modoc, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Weed at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Modoc comes in on four and Weed on eight.
