Baseball Recap: Rockridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hall on Friday, Rockridge came back down to earth. The Rockets fell 8-5 to the Eureka Hornets on Saturday. The Rockets have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Rockridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Eureka, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coming up, Rockridge will challenge Mercer County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eureka, they will face off against Fisher at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bunnies have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
