Volleyball Recap: Cary Comes Up Short

Cary was the 3-0 winner over Broughton when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Imps fell 3-1 to the Capitals on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-28, 25-17, 25-15.

Cary's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Broughton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cary will venture away from home to take on East Wake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Broughton, they will head out to square off against Rolesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Capitals their first taste of in-conference action this season.
