Locust Grove has gone a perfect 4-0 against McDonough recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Locust Grove Wildcats will challenge the McDonough Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Locust Grove is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals last Friday, they were much more limited against Eagle's Landing on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, McDonough didn't have quite enough to beat Stockbridge on Tuesday and fell 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Warhawks in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

McDonough now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Locust Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Everything went Locust Grove's way against McDonough in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, as Locust Grove made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Locust Grove since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
