Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Falcons vs. Dublin Gaels

Foothill is 2-8 against Dublin since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Foothill Falcons will be playing at home against the Dublin Gaels at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Foothill came up short against Dougherty Valley and fell 62-49. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 697th, while the Wildcats are ranked 327th).

Meanwhile, Dublin's undefeated season came to an end after 12 games on Tuesday. They were dealt a 58-28 defeat at the hands of California. The match marked the Gaels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Dublin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.
