Football Game Preview: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Highline Pirates

The Inglemoor Vikings will head out to square off against the Highline Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Inglemoor is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Renton just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Red Hawks, falling 27-7. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the defeat, Inglemoor got top-tier performance from Peyton Mrsny, who rushed for 128 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Highline played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Liberty 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Patriots are ranked 27th).

Inglemoor's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Highline, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
