St. Francis had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the River City Raiders 1-0 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Troubadours, who have now won five matches in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Giuliana Del Guerra, who's now up to five this season.

St. Francis' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for River City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Coming up, St. Francis will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Pleasant Grove at 3:00 p.m. Pleasant Grove will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Francis surely won't give up without a fight. River City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
