Basketball Recap: Wyalusing Valley Takes a Loss

Wyalusing Valley lost to Hughesville on December 15th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams were beaten by the Spartans 64-27. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wyalusing Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Hughesville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wyalusing Valley will take on Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hughesville, they will challenge Southern Columbia Area at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
