Soccer Recap: Cook's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Cook kept a clean sheet against Georgia Christian on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Generals. The victory was some much needed relief for Cook as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

They hit Georgia Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Daniel Holland, Johann Alamilla-Mejia, and Alex McDaniel.

Cook's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Georgia Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cook will face off against Ware County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Georgia Christian, they will take on Valwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
