Football Recap: KIPP College Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for KIPP College Prep's offense. They came up short against the Bell Griffins on Friday, falling 24-0. The Panthers lost against the Griffins in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 47-0 score last time.

It was another big night for Marquette Jenkins, who rushed for 167 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries for Bell. Zonique Landon also helped out as he racked up 103 rushing yards.

This is the second loss in a row for KIPP College Prep and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Bell, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, KIPP College Prep will challenge Cardozo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bell, after each having a week off, they and McKinley Tech will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on October 11. The matchup will give the Griffins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
