Baseball Recap: Fairmont Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Fairmont entered their tilt with St. James on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 back in April.

Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for St. James, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

St. James didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Sleepy Eye on the 15th. Hopefully Fairmont paid attention to the Saints' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
