Soccer Recap: Tabernacle Christian Comes Up Short

Tabernacle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Indiana Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in August.

Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Indiana Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tabernacle Christian will head out to face off against Horizon Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Heartland Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indiana Christian Academy will be up against Heartland Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
