Shakopee is a perfect 6-0 against Farmington since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sabers will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Shakopee came up short against Prior Lake and fell 38-28.

Meanwhile, Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Eagan. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Farmington, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3.

Shakopee was able to grind out a solid win over Farmington when the teams last played back in October of 2022, winning 23-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
