Soccer Recap: Cedartown Takes a Loss

Cedartown entered their contest against Southeast Whitfield County on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Cedartown came up short against Southeast Whitfield County, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Cedartown were already down 4-1.

Cedartown's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Southeast Whitfield County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Cedartown and Southeast Whitfield County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Cedartown will face off against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 339 places (65 vs. 404). Meanwhile, Southeast Whitfield County (ranked 64th) will meet Cherokee (ranked 260th) at 8:00 p.m. on April 8.
