Eugene took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Iberia, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Rangers on Monday. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Eugene now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Iberia, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eugene will venture away from home to square off against Eldon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iberia, they will face off against Stoutland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
