Softball Recap: South Cobb Comes Up Short

South Cobb lost against Campbell back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 22-3 to the Spartans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Cobb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia McDonald, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

South Cobb's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Campbell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

South Cobb has already played their next match, an 18-6 defeat against Westlake on the 8th. As for Campbell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Hillgrove on the 9th.
