Volleyball Recap: Eastside Find Success

Eastside's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the DeKalb Barons by a score of 3-1. For the Blazers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Barons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Eastside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-18.

The victory got Eastside back to even at 1-1. As for DeKalb, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Eastside will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Wayne North Side at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for DeKalb, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Carroll on the 21st.
