It was a good run, but Boiling Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Trinity Shamrocks 38-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bubblers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-28 back in January.

Despite the loss, Boiling Springs saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gillian Mandell posted six points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Addy Berrier was another key player, putting up four points and four steals.

Even though they lost, Boiling Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Boiling Springs' defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2. As for Trinity, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Boiling Springs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-31 victory against Big Spring on the 31st. Trinity has also already played their next contest (against Steelton-Highspire), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
