Baseball Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion and Schley County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mt. Zion had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Wildcats. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Mt. Zion now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Schley County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Mt. Zion by a score of 9-2 later that day.
