Soccer Recap: St. Lucy's Beats South Hills for Their Third Straight Win

St. Lucy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They won by a goal and slipped past the South Hills Huskies 2-1. For the Regents, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.

St. Lucy's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for South Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

St. Lucy's and Eisenhower will round out the year against one another at at 11:10 a.m. on December 27th. As for South Hills, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on La Serna at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. South Hills' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
