Softball Recap: Central Lyon Comes Up Short

Central Lyon lost against Okoboji back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 7-6. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Okoboji, they pushed their record up to 4-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Central Lyon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-0 defeat against Unity Christian on the 20th. As for Okoboji, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Sheldon on the 19th.
