Softball Recap: Wapello Comes Up Short

Wapello blew Holy Trinity Catholic out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Holy Trinity Catholic got their revenge. The Indians fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since June 19th.

Wapello has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

As of now, neither Wapello nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
