Football Recap: Holy Family Catholic's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Holy Family Catholic lost against Dassel-Cokato back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fire took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Fire came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Chargers are ranked 45th).

Holy Family Catholic's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for Dassel-Cokato, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Holy Family Catholic will welcome Rockford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dassel-Cokato, they will head out to challenge Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
