Softball Recap: Cherokee Bluff Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Hall on Tuesday, Cherokee Bluff came back down to earth. The Bears fell 7-4 to the Jefferson Dragons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-4 defeat back in September.

Addy Cagle and Audrey Graham did some serious damage despite the final result: Cagle got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Graham went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Cherokee Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Jefferson, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

Coming up, Cherokee Bluff will head out on the road to challenge Brookwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Rabun County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
