High Plains not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the McCool Junction Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won nine in a row.

One reason for the win was High Plains' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-7.

High Plains' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tessa Morris led the charge by getting seven digs and two assists. Payton Ackerson also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

High Plains was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

High Plains' victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for McCool Junction, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, High Plains will be playing in front of their home fans against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCool Junction, they will head out to square off against Lawrence-Nelson on Thursday.
