Plainwell had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Schoolcraft Eagles by a score of 10-6. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Plainwell's win bumped their record up to 17-14-1. As for Schoolcraft, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-13-1.
