Foresthill waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 29-28 W against the Encina Bulldogs. The Wildfires have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Among those leading the charge was Brianna Miller, who posted 14 points and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Amy Saxelby, who scored nine points and five boards.

When it comes to explaining why Encina lost, don't look at Khaliah McDonalad. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 19 points and 30 rebounds. McDonalad is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Aleiyah Futrell was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 rebounds and 13 steals.

Foresthill's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Encina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17-1 record this season.
