Plainfield North is a perfect 10-0 against Joliet Central since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will face off against the Steelmen at 4:45 p.m. Plainfield North will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield North took on Oswego on Thursday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1. That's two games straight that Plainfield North have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Joliet Central was not quite Joliet West's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Joliet Central's goal came courtesy of Carlos Esparza, who's now up to five this season.

Joliet Central dropped their record down to 9-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Plainfield North, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 8-9-1.

Plainfield North beat Joliet Central 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Steelmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
