Baseball Recap: Greenbrier Comes Up Short

Greenbrier lost against Morgan County last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greenbrier Wolfpack took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan County Bulldogs. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Morgan County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Greenbrier will take on Effingham County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan County, they will square off against Newton at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Newton's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Morgan County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
