Softball Recap: Russellville Takes a Loss

Russellville lost against California back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Pintos by a score of 8-7.

K'Lea Basnett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Olivia Schaffer, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for California, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Russellville will venture away from home to square off against Camdenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for California, they will take on St. Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
