Football Recap: Lac Qui Parle Valley Falls to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop in First Game of Season

Lac qui Parle Valley kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds 44-6. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Coming up, Lac qui Parle Valley will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, they will head out to square off against St. James at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
