Basketball Recap: Vallejo's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Vallejo had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 31-27 W over the Hercules Titans on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-32 back in January.

Vallejo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tesiayah Sackiel, who posted 11 points and four steals. What's more, Sackiel also racked up four boards, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taliyah Davis, who put up four points and nine rebounds.

Vallejo's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14. As for Hercules, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Vallejo will face off against Bethel at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hercules does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
