Baseball Recap: Forest Park Takes a Loss

Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stephenson Jaguars. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Stephenson, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Coming up, Forest Park will square off against Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stephenson, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Luella at 5:55 p.m. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
