Soccer Game Preview: Grayson vs. Discovery

The Grayson Rams are taking a road trip to face off against the Discovery Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayson will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Grayson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Archer, who was ranked sixth at the time (Grayson was ranked fifth). The Rams never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory two weeks ago. Grayson had to overcome some adversity as Danny Juarez-Arrascaeta and Tolu Adeyemi were both handed red cards.

Grayson's one-goal win came courtesy of Andrew Seward, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Discovery who was credited with the win on Monday. The Titans got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Pope's two. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Discovery.

Grayson pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Discovery, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
