Soccer Recap: B-G-M Wins Going Away Against Independence

B-G-M won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Mustangs. B-G-M might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by four goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for B-G-M and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those two games. As for Independence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. B-G-M will challenge Vinton-Shellsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will take on Grinnell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
