Softball Recap: Wynnewood Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Wynnewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Asher Indians 8-7. This was a revenge game for the Savages: when they faced off against the Indians back in August, they had to take a 5-0 loss.

Wynnewood's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Asher, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season.

Wynnewood will square off against Pauls Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Asher, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Allen on the 15th.
