The matchup between Bixby and Norman North on Wednesday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Timberwolves. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Timberwolves back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Bixby and bumps their season record up to 16-19. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Norman North, their loss dropped their record down to 18-17-1.

Bixby wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Broken Arrow on the 8th. As for Norman North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Eisenhower on the 8th.
