Softball Recap: Rutland Takes a Loss

Rutland fell victim to Pike County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 18-0. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Rutland's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Pike County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Rutland will head out to face off against Crawford County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pike County, they will be playing at home against Union Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
