Softball Recap: Parkway North Comes Up Short

Parkway North extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 1-12. They lost 17-1 to the Northwest Lions. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Northwest, they moved to 8-15 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Northwest's part, Maddie Mulkey was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Sophia Debella was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Looking ahead, Parkway North will venture away from home to take on Pattonville at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
