Softball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 9-19-2. As for Eisenhower, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-20.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat MacArthur by a score of 5-3 later that day.
