Baseball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King lost to Juarez on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 18-5 to the Eagles. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amir Brownridge, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Brownridge has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Antwon King also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

King's record is now 2-5-1. As for Juarez, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, King will take on Dyett at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Juarez, they will venture away from home to challenge Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
