Princeton won the last time they faced Goldsboro and Addison Taylor did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Taylor, who had three digs, two aces, and one block. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 29 times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Goldsboro saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Callaway Sauls had 11 digs. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Sauls.

Princeton pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Goldsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
