Volleyball Recap: Lufkin Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lufkin faced off against Plano on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Leading Plano to victory were Olivia Stump and Bella Osborn. Stump had four digs and three aces, while Osborn had 13 digs and two assists. Osborn has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Lufkin's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Plano, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Lufkin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Heritage on the 16th. As for Plano, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Tatum on the 16th.
