Soccer Recap: Turner County Takes a Loss

Turner County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Irwin County Indians. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Indians when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Turner County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Irwin County, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Turner County will square off against Lanier County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Irwin County, they will challenge Brooks County at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Irwin County surely won't give up without a fight.
