The home team had come away the winner the last six times Dade County and LaFayette had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wolverines had just enough and edged out the Ramblers 4-3 on Saturday. The game was the first time the Wolverines have beaten the Ramblers on their field since August 14, 2021.

Dade County pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for LaFayette, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Dade County will host Chattooga at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaFayette, they will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Ramblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
