Recap: Silverado Hawks vs. Adelanto Saints
The Silverado Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 72-46 margin over Adelanto. The win was nothing new for Silverado as they're now sitting on three straight.
It was another big night for Elizabeth Udeze, who scored 30 points. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Silverado's points. Another player making a difference was Belinda Rincon, who scored 16 points.
Silverado pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Adelanto, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverado will take on Barstow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barstow is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Adelanto, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victor Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victor Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 948th, while Adelanto is ranked 431st).
