Soccer Game Preview: Analy vs. Windsor

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Analy take on the Windsor at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Analy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with six straight losses, while Windsor will come in with seven straight victories.

Analy managed to keep up with Ukiah until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Analy came up short against Ukiah, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Windsor kept a clean sheet against Montgomery on Friday. They blew past the Vikings 3-0. Give the Jaguars' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Avery North and Karli Sikes scored all three of Windsor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Windsor pushed their record up to 8-3-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Analy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-2.

Analy came up short against Windsor in their previous meeting back in January, falling 2-0. Can Analy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
